 Lac des Arcs or "Lake of Bows" was named by Eugene Bourgeau of the Palliser Expedition in 1858, referring to this widening of the Bow River. The name likely came from a traslation of the Cree word manachaban, or place-one-takes-bows-from, since First Nations people made their hunting bows from saplings which grew along the river. 출처 - Lack of bows 안내판 - |
